Filipino Cuisine at Crisostomo

Filipino Cuisine will always and forever be my favorite. I've tried amazing dishes from other types of cuisines, but nothing will ever surpass the savory flavor of Filipino food. We also have bountiful produce here so the freshness is always on point.

Last May, my mom came back from Canada and we celebrated her return with a family lunch at Crisostomo Eastwood. Here's what we had:

Don Rafael Crispy Pata, deep-fried pork leg with atchara, and soy vinegar.

Kare Kare ng Kura, stewed oxtail and ox tripe made with homemade peanut sauce served with native vegetables and shrimp paste.

Doña Victorina, sautéed prawns in crab fat sauce.

Sinang Con Laing, gabi leaves with coconut cream.

Sinigang Zamora, sinigang sa miso with mustasa leaves.

Fried tilapia fish.

Salome’s Secret, sizzling squid glazed with secret sauce.

We also ordered a pitcher of Melon Juice for the whole family. This is by far, my favorite family lunch ever. Everything is so perfect and wonderful. I love how they represented Filipino Cuisine, diverse and elegant.
